'Don't believe quacks who claim to cure swine flu'
"One must cover the mouth and nose while sneezing. If needed, wear masks to protect yourself as well as others. Avoid crowded places. It is better to stay home if you are down with cough and cold and seek medical advice if symptoms worsen."
Dr Kaur also gave a word of caution. "The only treatment available is through government-approved centres. We should not get carried away with statements of quacks who claim they can cure the disease," she warned.The doctor also said that over 55 per cent of the 1,708 cases reported in the country have been cured and the swine flu strain has been mild and self-limiting till now.
